Doctor-led weight management begins with understanding the person, not handing everyone the same plan. It can involve medical history, medicines, symptoms, relevant measurements and a discussion of goals that fit real life.

Assessment before intervention

A clinician can decide whether testing is useful, identify issues that need further evaluation and explain the options available. This may include lifestyle support and, for eligible people, a discussion of prescription treatment. No single test determines the whole plan.

Follow-up is part of care

Nutrition, movement, sleep, stress and follow-up appointments help a plan respond to what is happening over time. Treatment choices should be reviewed as circumstances and preferences change.

burnN and Resolute emphasise a structured, clinician-guided approach. If you are considering medical weight management, ask who oversees your care, how progress is measured and what support is available between appointments.
