Welcome to Adiposity Atlas, a health assessment service offered by Resolute, operated by Applied Healthspan Private Limited (“Resolute,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Adiposity Atlas website, assessments, reports, consultations and related services. By accessing our website, completing an assessment, submitting your information or purchasing a service, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these terms, please discontinue use of the service.
1. About Adiposity Atlas
Adiposity Atlas is a personalised health assessment designed to help individuals better understand the biological, metabolic, behavioural and lifestyle factors that may contribute to fat gain and retention.
Depending on the services selected, Adiposity Atlas may include health and lifestyle questionnaires, body composition and anthropometric assessments, evaluation of nutrition, activity, sleep and stress patterns, review of relevant health indicators and biomarkers, where applicable, automated generation of personalised assessment reports, professional review of automatically generated reports, personalised health insights and recommendations, and guidance on potential next steps for improving metabolic health and weight management.
Adiposity Atlas reports are generated using automated assessment technology and subsequently reviewed by qualified professionals before being shared with users. The service provides educational and personalised health insights and does not independently constitute a medical diagnosis, prescription or treatment plan.
2. Eligibility and User Responsibilities
By using Adiposity Atlas, you agree that:
1. You are at least 18 years of age or are using the service with appropriate parental or legal guardian authorisation.
2. The information you provide is accurate, complete and up to date to the best of your knowledge.
3. You will not intentionally submit false or misleading health information.
4. You understand that the accuracy and relevance of your assessment depend on the information you provide.
5. You will use the service only for lawful and legitimate personal purposes.
Resolute reserves the right to restrict or discontinue access where information is fraudulent, misleading or used in violation of these Terms.
3. Information Collected
To provide Adiposity Atlas services, we may collect personal, health and technical information.
Personal Information
• Full name, age or date of birth, gender where relevant, email address, phone number, city or location information.
Health and Assessment Information
• Height, weight and body measurements, body fat percentage and body composition, weight history and weight management goals, nutrition and eating habits, physical activity and exercise patterns, sleep and recovery information, stress and lifestyle factors, appetite and hunger patterns, relevant medical history, existing health conditions or medication information voluntarily disclosed, blood biomarkers or laboratory results where applicable, and responses to health assessment questionnaires.
Technical Information
We may collect website usage information, browser details, cookies and analytics data to improve the functionality and performance of our services. All personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable laws.
4. Use of Personal and Health Information
Resolute may use the information collected to generate your personalised Adiposity Atlas, identify patterns and factors that may influence fat gain and retention, provide relevant health, lifestyle and metabolic insights, facilitate professional review of automatically generated reports, develop personalised recommendations based on your assessment, facilitate consultations or additional services requested by you, communicate assessment results, service updates and relevant follow-ups, improve our assessment methodologies, service quality and user experience, conduct internal analysis and research using appropriately protected or de-identified information, and comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
Where necessary to deliver requested services, information may be shared with authorised healthcare professionals, assessment partners or technology service providers, subject to appropriate privacy and confidentiality safeguards. We do not sell or rent your personal health information.
5. Medical Disclaimer
Adiposity Atlas is intended to provide personalised health and wellness insights and should not be considered a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. The information and recommendations provided are based on the health and lifestyle data available at the time of assessment.
You acknowledge that individual health conditions and responses may vary, assessment findings may not identify every factor affecting your health, recommendations do not guarantee weight loss, fat loss or specific metabolic outcomes, medical decisions should be made in consultation with a qualified healthcare professional, and you should not independently start, stop or modify prescribed medications based solely on your Adiposity Atlas report.
Adiposity Atlas is not an emergency medical service. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, seek immediate medical assistance.
6. Assessment Generation, Professional Review and Limitations
Adiposity Atlas uses automated technology to analyse the health, body composition and lifestyle information provided by users and generate personalised assessment reports. Each report is subsequently reviewed by qualified professionals to evaluate the findings and recommendations before being shared with the user.
While Resolute aims to provide accurate, relevant and professionally reviewed insights, assessment outcomes may be influenced by incomplete or inaccurate information provided by users, missing or outdated health measurements, variations in individual physiology and health conditions, limitations of automated assessment technologies, and changes in health status after completing the assessment.
Automated report generation is supported by professional oversight. However, professional review does not guarantee the identification of every underlying health condition or factor contributing to fat gain and retention. Adiposity Atlas reports are intended to provide personalised health and wellness insights and do not independently constitute a medical diagnosis, prescription or substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare professional.
7. Payment and Billing
Certain Adiposity Atlas services may be offered free of charge, while additional assessments, consultations or related services may require payment. Where payment is applicable:
1. Prices will be communicated before purchase.
2. All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR), unless otherwise specified.
3. Payments may be processed through authorised third-party payment gateways, including Razorpay.
4. You agree to provide accurate billing and payment information.
5. Applicable taxes and additional charges, if any, will be disclosed during checkout.
Resolute reserves the right to revise service pricing. Any revised price will apply to future purchases and will not retroactively change the price of a completed purchase.
8. Refund and Cancellation Policy
Free Assessments
Adiposity Atlas assessments provided free of charge do not involve payment and are therefore not eligible for refunds.
Paid Adiposity Atlas Assessments
1. Cancellation requests submitted before assessment processing begins may be considered for a refund.
2. Once a personalised assessment has been processed or a report has been generated or delivered, the purchase will generally be considered final.
3. Refund requests arising from technical errors, duplicate payments or inability to deliver the purchased service will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
4. Where Resolute is unable to provide a paid service for reasons attributable to Resolute, an appropriate refund will be offered.
Consultation Services
1. Requests to reschedule should be made at least 2 hours before the scheduled consultation.
2. Missed consultations without prior notice may not be eligible for refunds or complimentary rescheduling.
3. Consultations cancelled by Resolute will be rescheduled or refunded, as appropriate.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will ordinarily be processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method, subject to payment provider processing timelines. Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable law.
9. Service Availability
Adiposity Atlas is offered through Resolute’s digital platforms and associated service channels. The availability of certain features, consultations, diagnostic services or additional assessments may vary depending on your location and the service selected. Resolute may periodically modify, suspend or discontinue certain service features for operational, technical, regulatory or other legitimate reasons. We aim to maintain reliable access to our platforms but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
10. Data Privacy and Security
Resolute takes reasonable technical, administrative and organisational measures to protect personal and health information. These measures may include secure data transmission, access restrictions and appropriate data handling practices. However, no digital platform or internet-based transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. By using Adiposity Atlas, you acknowledge the inherent risks associated with electronic communication and data storage. 11. Intellectual Property
All content associated with Adiposity Atlas, including website design, assessment methodologies, written materials, graphics, branding, reports, software and related intellectual property, belongs to Resolute or its respective licensors unless otherwise stated. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use their Adiposity Atlas assessment and reports for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, redistribute, commercially exploit or modify proprietary assessment materials without prior written permission from Resolute.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Resolute shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by users, decisions made solely on the basis of assessment results without appropriate professional guidance, temporary service interruptions or technical failures, unauthorised access or security incidents despite reasonable safeguards, or third-party services outside Resolute’s reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted, including applicable statutory consumer rights.
13. Changes to Services and Terms
Resolute reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service to reflect changes in our services, technology, business operations or applicable legal requirements. Updated Terms will be published on our website with a revised effective date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain appropriate consent before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service following the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of Adiposity Atlas shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, subject to applicable consumer protection laws and other mandatory legal provisions.
