GLP DONE RIGHT · CLINICAL CARE

GLP-1 medicines are prescription treatments. Whether one is appropriate depends on your health history, indication, potential benefits, risks and a clinician’s judgment. A conversation before starting should cover the care plan around the medicine, not just the prescription.
Questions for your appointment
Ask whether you meet the relevant prescribing criteria, what side effects to watch for, how your other medicines or health conditions affect the decision, and what follow-up will look like. Discuss pregnancy plans or a history of relevant medical conditions where applicable.
Plan beyond the prescription
Nutrition, strength training, monitoring and sustainable routines remain important. Ask how your team will assess symptoms and nutritional intake, and what happens if treatment is paused or stopped. Never adjust a prescribed dose without medical advice.
GLP Done Right frames treatment as a clinician-guided system of nutrition, training, monitoring, targeted support and behaviour. This article is educational and is not a recommendation to start a medicine.
For general education only. This article is not medical advice, a diagnosis or a substitute for an individual consultation. Discuss treatment decisions with a qualified healthcare professional.
