GLP DONE RIGHT · BODY COMPOSITION

A bathroom scale measures total body weight. It does not distinguish body fat from muscle, bone or changes in body water. This is why two people at the same weight can have different health and functional needs, and why a single weigh-in says little about the direction of progress.
What body composition adds
Body-composition methods estimate fat and lean tissue. They can add context during weight management, but each method has limitations and readings can vary with hydration and testing conditions. Discuss the method and frequency that make sense for your situation with a professional.
Protect what supports daily life
GLP Done Right highlights strength, function and muscle preservation alongside changes in weight. Resistance training and adequate nutrition can be useful topics for your care plan, especially if appetite has changed during treatment.
No measurement is a moral score. Together, weight trends, strength, waist measurements, symptoms and relevant clinical markers may provide a more useful conversation than the scale alone. Seek individual advice before making major changes to treatment or diet.
